This Morning in Religion

Talk of the Nation has a report on the impact religious exemptions have on our society. It won’t be online till 3 PM PST, but I was just listening to it on the radio, and its pretty insightful, and worth a listen.

John D. Fitzgerald has an article on the morality of Mumford and Sons.

A gay BYU student spent a year coming out to his friends and family and capturing their reactions on video. He’s also a faithful Mormon, and hilariously pragmatic about how this means he’ll never be able to marry.

On what would have been his fifty-first birthday, Paste listed 15 great David Foster Wallace quotes. My personal favorite is,

True heroism is minutes, hours, weeks, year upon year of the quiet, precise, judicious exercise of probity and care—with no one there to see or cheer. This is the world.

RIP DFW. You may have been occasionally unbearable, but you left us with some awesome books.
